SPRING TEAM BASKETBALL LEAGUE

The Cumming Recreation Department is excited to offer a 15-to-18-year-old Spring Team Basketball League with competitive play in both Boys and Girls divisions. For the league, instead of individual player registration, entries will register as teams. Practices/games will begin in early March, with games beginning in April. Practices will be held once weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays and /or Thursdays, while games will be played primarily on Tuesdays and /or Thursdays.  Once games begin in April, there will be no more weeknight practices.

Each coach will register his or her team through the Recreation Department office at 437 Pilgrim Mill Road and pick up a team packet. Coaches, who must be 21 years old or older, will be responsible for submitting roster forms with each player’s name, address, date of birth, and signed waivers to complete league entry. Rosters should consist of 8 to 10 players. Only players listed on a team’s roster will be eligible to compete in games.

Registration Dates: Monday, February 13th-28th   8:30 am-4:30 pm

Team Registration Fee: $900 per Team

Ages: 15 to 18 years old 

• Coaches (21+) will be responsible to come by the main office to register team
• Must have full Roster of 8 to 10 players. Roster should include: Player Names, Address, Date of Birth, Signed Waiver Forms
• Team’s place will be secured with payment of registration fee
• Practice slots and Jerseys will be provided
• 8 Game regular-season schedule and post-season tournament
• Age Control Date: April 1, 2023

Registration for the Team League will be limited due to facility availability and program demand. Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until program maximums are met. Please note:  All leagues have registration limits & registration will end when those limits are reached, regardless of Registration Dates. Once the maximum number of entries has been reached, teams will be placed on a Waiting List to determine if further availability exists.
